Busy Bee Child
Development Center

September 2007
Dear Parents,
It is the start of another school year and we are excited to
be able to share the many gifts that our Early Childhood Enrichment
Center can offer your child and your family. Because of the
political, social, and economic uncertainties of our times, it is
even more important that we protect and provide for our young
children. It is the aim of Busy Bee to provide your child with an
opportunity to develop self-esteem, cognitive abilities and social
skills. All our activities are constructed in a loving, safe and
affirming environment.
Busy Bee offers an array of experimental opportunities that
will promote growth and development. We teach social skills, fine
motor skills, visual-spatial relations, phonic awareness,
paper-pencil skills and verbal skills development. We show children
how to problem-solve, take turns and work independently as well as
with peers. After 38 years we know that our developmentally based
child care program will prepare your child for eventual advancement
to kindergarten and other extracurricular-social activities in the
future.
Busy Bee Nursery School depends on the school-parent
partnership in order to make the utmost impact upon your child. We
count on your suggestions, participation and compliance with our
policies in order to operate efficiently. We also value your
feedback regarding our curriculum and daily operations.
Please,
-
Sign in
and out daily
-
Remember
to pay the $65.00 material fee on or before September 5th
-
Pick up
your child on time. School closes at 6:00 p.m. Our staff
have families and need to leave on time.
-
Naps are a
requirement at Busy Bee. Do not drop your child off at school
after 11 a.m. because it disrupts the lunch and nap schedule. We
also prefer that you not call or come by between 11:30 and 2:30
for the same reason.
-
Participate in our special functions and activities as often as
you can. Your child wants to share these school experiences with
you.
-
Donations
are always appreciated. We can use your time, expertise and
miscellaneous items, which can be used for art and science
projects (Be creative!) Send children in play clothes and tennis
shoes so we can maximize their experiences.
